The GE866-QUAD delivers quad-band GSM/GPRS connectivity within the world's smallest LGA footprint: 13.2 x 17.2 mm2. It is based on the newest generation 2.5G chipset to ensure our customers a long-term availability solution that protects their design investments. This product employs leading-edge and robust "Conformal Coating" encasing technology for deployment even in the harshest environments.

With its cellular chipset at the beginning of its price drop curve, the GE866-QUAD provides a competitive cost-effective 2.5G solution. The GE866-QUAD operates with 1.8V GPIOs and features a UART interface as well as analog and digital voice interfaces. The module also delivers a built-in Python script interpreter allowing customers to run their applications inside the module itself. The GE866-QUAD can be easily bundle-designed with Telit's GPS or GPS/GLONASS receivers for miniature-size devices requiring location awareness. Reference designs and global technical integration support are available from Telit.
